If its not Sciatica what is it?

Back in July my ex tossed me around and I landed on my tail bone, they did Xrays and said nothing was wrong, Lately the pain is shooting down my leg and into my foot and It buckles on me when Im walking. when I sleep my leg goes numb


I had an MRI over the weekend, and Im wondering if its not Sciatica, what could it be? I am in so much pain I dont know what to do...I just dont want my Doctor to think I'm making this up. Any Ideas??

Reply:I was diagnosed with sciatica a few years ago when I slid down some steps and hit my lower back on the edge of a step, and your symtoms sound just like mine. Does the pain shoot down your leg like it is following a nerve path? My toes go numb and I am now experiencing neuropathy in my feet at night when I try to sleep. I wish you well. Surely your doctor won't think you are making this up. I know that there are many people who have this problem. Have you gotten the results from your MRI yet?
