My knee has been really bothering me. I don't think I did anything to it. The best way to describe it...

The best way to describe what it feels like is what I would imagine a knee out of joint would feel like. When I walk, sometimes it feels like it "buckles" and is giving me a considerable amount of pain. It is also kind of stiff and hard to move at times.

I think that I am a month or so pregnant. Would anything like that be a side affect? What is the best way I can help it or make it better?

Go to the doctor
Reply:i really don't think that it would be a side effect of pregnancy. it really sounds like it may be out of place or something. you should reallly go see a doctor. you may be able to use a heat pad or ice pack to help with the pain, but the best way you could help it is to see a doctor to find out what's really wrong with it.
Reply:See your doctor... Not the OBGYN. Being pregnant has nothing to do with your knee.

Home remedy for your knee: Get a can of WD-40, spray it on your knee. This is not a joke, it really works. Just don't try to inhale it.
Reply:Nope, this is not a pregnancy side effect. You have injured it somehow.
Reply:I had something similar. Doctor told me to put cold

on it (wet a washcloth, wring out, and put in refrigerator

until cold), then lay it the spot where it hurts (2 or 3 times

a day). Take Ibuprofen for inflammation and pain, several

times a day. This knee pain has nothing to do with being

pregnant.
Reply:I had similiar symptoms when I was pregnant. It ended up being bursitis of my knee. Being pregnant just aggravated it. I tried the cold packs and tylenol but that didn't help it got to the point to where I could not even walk. I ended up getting a corticosteroid shot in my knee when I was about 4 months along. It hasn't given me much problem since. I would tell your doctor about it and see what they think it is and the best treatment is.
