Weird Pain?!?

For the 3 day in the past 4 or 5 days I occassionally get this SHOOTING pain! It's located right along my underwear/bikini line, like where my leg meets my body. It hurts so bad my leg actually buckles and I cry out! It only happens a couple times a day. I am 38 weeks pregnant. Anyone heard of this before or had this experience? Is it just the way the baby is sitting?

Weird Pain?!?
The baby is sitting on a nerve and this is whats happening..

I had it and It hurt..It will be over soon

congrats om baby!
Reply:It may be stress on your hip. You might think about seeing a chiropractor or a masseuse. The weight of the baby throws you off balance. A good massage might relieve a lot of pain.

It was the only way I was able to walk that last month of pregnancy.
Reply:It has to do with the way The baby is rest on your lower pelvic are when you in your most relaxed state this probably happens cause i would get them when i was pregnant and sleeping there were so painful They would wake me up out of a dead sleep and every time my husband would sit up and Say Is It Time
Reply:talk to your doc
Reply:I HAVE HAD THISS TO. I THINK IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WAY THE BABY IS SITTING OR SOMETHING TO DO WITH A NERVE.

I KNOW ITS VERY PAINFUL.
Reply:What type of underwear are you wearing? Are you wearing maternity undies? I think boxer briefs feel much better
Reply:thats called your sciatica nerve.. I had this with both kids very painful good luck and yes its normal
Reply:Hey there, if it's in the back, down your buttocks it is probably your sciatica nerve. Babies put lots of pressure on them the last few weeks as they get so big they don't have anywhere to go. Sometimes it can last for hours, a hot bath might help soothe it.

If it's in the front, about one inch in from your pelvic bone on either side it might be the pressure on your groin is causing a slight herniation (most likely inguinal).

Definitely mention to your doc... especially if in front, he might want to watch it after the birth to see if you need surgery. Also, if it's on the right side in front he may want to make sure your appendix aren't acting up.
Reply:I am actully going through this right now...I thought that maybe something was wrong with my pelvis....I asked my Doc and he said not to worry about it..The baby was just laying on nerves...it is just starting to go away...
Reply:Dont wear any tight clothes..preferrably no clothes...

You're going to go into labor soon, be prepared. Keep your legs wide apart so your vaginal area is pretty much open, it may help nullify the pain.
Reply:I dont know what its called but I had it also! it hurt but the doctor said it was normal!! good luck and remeber your almost done!!
