Results of political acumen question #6?

This question is observation only--no correct answer, obviously. It's a matter how well candidates are able to get across to you their strengths under pressure.

Personally, I never vote for anyone unless they've served as governor. Bill Clinton was a good candidate. Currently, Bill Richardson of New Mexico, Huckabee of Arkansas, and Mitt Romney are the governors running for office, and of the three, I prefer Richardson (even though I'm an obvious conservative).

Keep in mind that when the President of the United States buckles under pressure to foreign leaders, Americans suffer, usually monetarily. We need the strongest possible leader, especially considering that some world leaders are tyrants.

Comments welcome.

I don't use that as a litmus test. Giuliani served as mayor of a city that is bigger than most states. Bigger than many UN members for that matter. He has a solid record of accomplishment there %26amp; we KNOW how he responds to pressure.
Reply:I think you have to check your history to limit yourself to only governors. Our major wartime presidents were not governors. And take your example today with Bush. He's degraded our military so much with lack of equipment, poor veteran care, etc. and alienating the rest of the world when we need them more than ever to fight terrorism.
