William or Bill?

i always go by william. my apologies to those that answer to Bill, but i always thought it was a redneck-sounding name. i picture guys named Bill with cowboy hats, belt buckles the size of small plates, and a little river of chewing tobacco spit oozing down their chins. i think William is a more dignified name. agree or disagree?

I agree....William is very dignified and old fashioned name. And I love your sterotype...I agree with in completly.

I have an uncle named Bill, love him... didn't know he was a william until I was 18 or so =) LOL.





I'd say disagree only because I have met a lot of Bills who are not even close to being redneck.
