Any good manager/interviewer will be able to "visualize" you in their attire should it be part of the job requirement.

It means that there's either a scratch or chip in the paint. Since it's buckle rash, it's probably on the back of the body because that's where a belt buckle (buckle rash) would rub. It won't affect the sound of the guitar or the way it looks to other people while you're playing it.

I don't know if Buckle is a regional thing, but I've never heard of it in my entire life.

American Eagle, however, I know about. Their clothes are cute and good quality. I've never had something get a hole in it, rip at the seams, anything like that, and I've been shopping there for years.

Things like that, however, happens to clothes I buy at Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, and sadly Old Navy. But American Eagle, never! And it's the only place I'll buy jeans, especially since they make a long cut for those of us with long legs.

American Eagle is always the place to go!

One is that there are a plethora of different brands and styles to choose from, such as Lucky, BKE (there own brand), Volcom, Roxy, Hurley, Billabong, Triple 5 Soul etc. Obviously, at American Eagle you're limited to just the AE brand. At a store with such variety as The Buckle of course the clothes would be cuter there.

The Buckle has such a wide selection of clothing that you most likely won't be wearing the same t-shirt as the person standing next you. When doing a search form something like hoodies on The Buckle's website you can find over 60 different hoodies, whereas AE has only 11 with 9 of them resembling each other.

As for quality, the brands at The Buckle are going to produce more quality items. I own a pair of Lucky jeans from The Buckle and they fit well and are made of good quality. I've had them for maybe 6 months and I do see them lasting me quite some time. American Eagle clothing on the other hand has t-shirts that look somewhat see through and I'm pretty sure I bought a shirt that had a hole in it before even leaving the store. Their denim tends to stretch out after wearing it so you have to wash them in hot water so that you can get them back to your original size after just one wear.

I would choose The Buckle of American Eagle any day.

Dont think actually doing it too much, just get your books out and do it. I procrastinate a lot so I find if i just sit down and start, it helps. Also get rid of any distractions sit somewhere quite and comfortable, dont study in bed or you'll fall asleep and dont sit in front of the TV

When I can't concentrate on my homework I sometimes go for a jog, stretch, and/or exercise a little bit. It helps clear my mind and gets me energized.

I'm not sure from where, but I remember reading an article about eating an apple or an orange (something with lots of vitamin c) when you have to tackle something as boring and monotonous as homework, or taking a test. Eating an apple has worked for me.Try it.

Reply:It depends from person to person, but usually a clean working space with only the materials you need (pencil, ruler, highlighter, etc.) far from common distractions (books, TV, etc.) works. Try your dining table, not the desk where you usually work.

Comfort is also a big factor. You'll want a chair that makes you sit up straight and pay attention. The lighting should be quite bright, so you aren't squinting over your paper. Squinting makes you tired. If you're hungry or thirsty, eat! A lot of water is good for your brain.

It also depends on what "kind" of person you are....if you enjoy mathematics more than English, for example, you might want to start with math first to get your brain working. Or, you can save the best for last, and do English first...but I find it easier to focus on other stuff after you do your favorite/best subject. A lot of people say to take breaks, but it's really easy to get distracted during these "breaks." I prefer to do everything in one seating, without even thinking of anything else.

Reply:Yeah, I have always had the same problem. The only thing that works for me is to start working on it as soon as I encounter the problem even if it's just for a few minutes. I found that if I start something right away, it's much easier to finish it later. The longer I wait to start, the harder it is to get started. Sometimes a task seems so huge that you think you'll never get it done. It's hard to get started because it looks like so much work. That's because you're looking at the whole project all at once. You have to break a job down into small manageable pieces. Once you've done the first part of contemplating the problem and breaking it down, the rest is much easier. If you've at least begun working on it, it won't seem so bad when you return to it. In summary, do something right away even if you are really tired and only do it for a couple minutes. Then, schedule yourself a convenient time when you are going to be in the right frame of mind and start the bulk of the work. After you poop out, you'll only have a little work to finish. Some people like to have music on when they work, others like it quiet, but it never works to have the TV on or with a bunch of people talking. If you are in a crowded environment, get some headphones. Send me an email and I can explain in detail how to break a problem down.

Reply:just dress casual.. if you dress to dressy they will realize you are not really a casual person you like to dress up. buckle is a casual clothing store, so you need to represent casual clothing to them with a desire to wear casuality-style clothing. i recommend a pair of nice skinny flare jeans or straight leg and a nice shirt. not like, a hoodie and jeans-- too casual. store retails dont like it when their employees wear hoodies all the time. hope this helps. =)

Vinyl siding question?

i know a lot of the tricks to doing vinyl siding .but what do you do when your using new construction windows that have the J-channel built in.when you slide the siding behind it what keeps the weather/water from getting between the siding and window?its not weather tight.if you seal around it doesn't that affect the siding from being able to float or move so it won't buckle.also ive been looking at a lot of newlt built houses in the area that are vinyl sided and have noticed a lot of them were done horribly,the siding was very wavy.i can under stand older houses being covered vinyl siding having waves/buckles in them,but new houses,whats going on?are they all like this because im paying more attention to it now that im siding or what.plus anymore hints at siding much appreciated

You can use the j-trim that is built around the window, but my suggestion is that you set the window in and then caulk before you slide your siding in place, there should be plenty of room for the siding, once you have done this then you need to seal the window with caulk to prevent water/weather damage from happening. The siding will not buckle here because you will not nail it tight. Never nail siding tight, it has to be able to move.

When hanging siding, take the claw of the hammer and slip it between the nail and siding. There should be just enough clearance for the claw of the hammer, adjust as needed.

Make sure you are allowing enough room at the ends, so that the siding moves freely but do not leave a gap, there should be 1/16-1/8 inch clearance at each end.

The trick is to make sure that it's not nailed tightly or to loose at the ends.

The driver's side seatbelt of my 2005 Saturn Ion 1 is stuck in the unlocked position. That it, I cannot wear my seatbelt. What should I do?

It sounds like the locking mechanism siezed. Take it to a Saturn dealership. I can't speak for Saturn, but Toyota has a 5 yr/60,000 mile warranty on seat belt replacement. Saturn is probably just a good. You will want to call them first, though.

Reply:1 thing you could do is twist your belt around and buckle it on the side. There's not really anything that I know of that you can put on your guitar to prevent it...unless you want to cut up a t-shirt and tape it on. You can also wear a little longer shirt so it covers up your belt.

After five years.... Im not surprised it needs some stretching.... thats the nature of the beast, my friend.... no matter how tight you get the carpet upon installation... the fibers will stretch over time.

This IS an easy fix. IF you have a carpet stretcher... notice, I did NOT say carpet, or knee 'kicker'... those will mess your back up something fierce, lol.

All you need to do, is stretch the carpet, and trim off the excess. You can rent a stretcher from most places that rent tools. Im providing a link to what one looks like. Ive got one of these, and its sooooo much nicer than using a knee kicker!!

Typical procedure is stretch to a flat wall, with no door openings...that way youre not having to deal with how to handle the carpet around door frames, etc. Use roofing nails to hold the carpet in place temporarily, wherever you need to, if you need to (like if you needed to stretch it two directions)... do NOT drive them all the way in, lol....

If you decided to hire someone, this would run about $30 - $40 per room usually. A single room can be done pretty quickly, if there is no heavy furniture to move. Most furniture, like chairs, tables, etc... can be left in the room.. you just need to clean off that wall you are working towards.

I don't know about these, I do know that I have "leashes" that I got from the baby section of the supermarket (Biggs in Ohio) and I attach a stretchy fabric with velcro on one end and a loop on the other to my child and I hold the looped end. I have them "attached" to me and I know where they are when we are out places that are very crowded. I get a lot of comments (good ones) about these and I get asked where I bought them.

How do I prevent buckling on a rug that is on wall to wall carpeting?

Rugs really aren't designed to be used on carpet. However, you could try to purchase a rubber mesh designed to keep rugs from slipping on hardwood floors. Stretch the rug on the mesh and it may help keeping it from buckling. If you are putting something heavy on the rug (ie, table/chair/etc) then forget it. It will buckle no matter what.

For what it's worth, I had the same problem and ended up removing the carpet and installing a wood floor.

I get mobbed by the salesgirls that work there as soon as I walk in. When I was shopping for jeans, one of them brought me several styles while I was in the dressing room. Usually I shop at Old Navy, so am I just not used to this kind of treatment?

Yea they do, I didn't know that when i first started working for them like a month ago. But yea we get paid $4.35/hr there so we count on our commission...thats why when someone walks int othe store they start throwing jeans and shirts and shoes at you everywhich way. Needless to say I put in my two weeks notice on the second day! :)

Reply:It depends on the type of belts actually. I wear some of my hipster and thicker belts with the buckles at the side, as it looked nicer and also more comfortable, esp with those belts with a huge buckle, cos they will dig into my tummy if i bend forward.

If it's those thin normal leather belts, i tend to wear the buckle at the front, cos it looked more normal and nicer that way. but i have some friends who wear those at the side, cos they say the buckle will make them look fat esp if their top cover the belt buckle

How to clean vomit out of a carseat?

My daughter got really sick last night, unfortunatly while we were out. On the drive home despite my best attempts to catch vomit in a grocery sack her car seat strap and buckles got coated. Inside the between the leg buckle too.

Any ideas on how to get the stench of vomit out? Or should I just buy a knew one? I used clorox wipes and got all the solids off, but it still smells.

My daughter will probably out grow this seat and move onto a booster next year so I thought about maybe just replacing it with a toddler seat that can convert to a booster.

How to clean vomit out of a carseat?
You need to check the carseat manual for appropriate ways to clean the cover and harness straps. You can NOT put the straps in the washing machine or use harsh cleaners. Most manufacturers say to spot clean with a MILD cleanser (think dish soap or hand soap.) - you should not submerge the straps in water.

If you clean them this way and they still smell, lay them out in the sun. It does wonders to get the smell out.

I always just throw the cover in the tub with cold water and gentle cleanser. I scrub, then rinse multiple times. The shell can be simply wiped out.

If you still want to replace your DDs seat - the Graco Nautilus is great. It harnesses to 65lbs, then converts to a booster!
Reply:Take the cover off and throw it in the washing machine. Should do this regularly anyways...come to think of it, I should probably wash mine...all four of them.
Reply:I'd just replace it, but if I had to clean it out I'd soak it down, maybe hose it off outside, and pour plenty of a strong cleaner over it like Mr. Clean or equivalent, rinse well, then let it dry in strong sunlight.
Reply:Don't replace it!! My daughter used threw up in her car seat plenty of times with Penicillin in the throw up, mind you, and I still got the smell out... My son spits up in his car seat at least once a week and I can still get it clean and it doesn't smell. can you take the car seat cover off? Every car seat should have a removable car seat cover... put it in the washing machine by itself and wash it. As for the car seat shell, just take soap and water and wash that off... If it's on your actual car seat then try sponging it with a damp rag and a little soap. Leave the car windows open to air out the smell, as well.
Reply:I'd replace it with the type of seat you mentioned. (converter) Vomit is extremely difficult to get out of fabric. Getting it out of the inside of a buckle is next to impossible also. No matter how clean you think you got it, the odor will always be in the seat.
Reply:Take them all out. Throw the straps in to the washing machine, and the buckles into the sink and let them soak in a bleach/water solution. You're probably going to want to throw the seat cover in also (they're washable).

If your buckles won't come off the straps, just throw it all in the washer in a garment bag.

Surface washing just won't do the trick. Vomit's a very hard smell to get rid of.
Reply:Buy a Bissel spotbot. It has an attachment for upholstery.
Reply:my daughter has done this too. i completely took the seat apart (i think you can on most of them) and threw it in the washer and bleached the plastic.
Reply:The cover should be removable, probably the straps too. Toss them in the machine and add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the RINSE cycle (use the fabric softener dispenser) this will get out all of the smell.

Also use a mild vinegar soap solution on the plastic of the seat and let it dry in the sun.
Reply:My daughter did this while with her dad in July and no one told me until the next morning when I found it or should I say smelled it as I got in the car. I went straight to the car wash with all the windows down and still gagging, I am betting I was a comical sight. I just took the seat out and hosed it down. It worked great, I used the soap then rinse, I didn't bother with the wax LOL. I took it home and just set it out in the sun to dry. It is less complicated then pulling it apart and worth a try if you are willing to buy another one anyway.

What kind of halter is best to train/lead a week old foal?

Any experienced horse people out there? I have read it is best to start halter training at this young age. Some say not to use nylon. Have seen some with buckles. We use a simple nylon rope type, no buckles on the mom.

you want to halter train as early as possible. The easiest way is to have one person lead mom, and have another lead the baby next to mom so the foal doesn't even realise it's learning to lead and it will pick it up really quick.

As for the halter to use, something soft is good. You can get halters called a foal slip that are designed for small foal heads and often have a small lead attached to make the baby easier to get hold of. They come in leather or nylon, but the nylon ones are really soft. You can also use a regular rope halter on the baby but you would probably need to make it cause I don't think you can buy them small enough.
