Hip Hop Culture: Question about the fashion in your area?

question regarding the hip hop culture, just wanted to know whats the fashion/dress attire like in your area..what's the stuff alot of ppl sport, are there a bunch of jim jones look-a-likes? (small shirts, belt buckles, wallet chains, n shyt)

There's quite a few Head at my school. My circle is HUGE on Wu-Tang (thank God), but the only people that dress even remotely close to Jim Jones are people that listen to ish like Yellow Card.





I keep it fresh...LRG, Sean John, Rocawear, Jordan, Ecko, and Im sporting this new brand "Live Mechanics." It's motto is "Leaders of the Old School."





Every head at my school rocks some graff design on their backpack. I got a dark-blue W on mine.





As for everyone else, its mostly Hip-Hop related. Baggy pants (not as much sagging anymore), good-fitting shirts (nothing sizes too big or something 3 sizes too small) and some fesh kicks. Well, I speak for those in my area (Heads, athletes, etc...

Reply:yes, lol Ill admit, the guys are walkin around like lil Jim Jones"ers" %26lt;lol...but alot of them are fans of lil wayne and lil wayne kinduv Joc Jim Jones's style, cause Wayne use to wear the bagg"y" jeans and stuff, until he was introduced to Dipset

Reply:I live in Florida... SOME guys do the whole Jim Jones thing... But, then again some of them even get clowned for it. But, there are some that can get away with it and look nice. But that doesn't really fly with me.





I see alot of guys wearing Coogi out here. Usually the baggy jeans, larger shirts, and shoes are REALLY big out here. Bigger than the clothing brands because you can throw on a plain tee, some jeans, and the right pair of sneakers will set it off.

Reply:a lot of people dress like jim jones...wit tha tight rockstar shirts..and wallet chains wit slim jeans...others (like me) i dress wit baggy jeans and one size larger shirts or button up shirts...its mostly a mix of both (jim jones %26amp; baggy clothes) of those 4 most people i see
Reply:there are quite a few sneakerheads where i live. i usually dress in regular plain shirts, with some dunk sb's, jordans, or plain skate shoes like emerica. but i do ocassionally wear some "underground" brands, like in4mation, ctrl, freshjive, orisue, etc.

Reply:I usually wear a white or red tee with my blue baggy jeans and NIkes. Since I live in a almost all white town, Holliter shirt, baggy jeans, sneakers are most popular though.
