Are there ppl out there who really don't buckle up?

today they start click it or ticket it but who does not buckle up when they drive and the ticket is more if its a child, are there really dumb ppl out there???

I buckle up every time. Its just become a habit to reach for the belt. And there is no WAY I'd let my daughter not be buckled in! I'm really glad I've buckled her in every time since the day she was born because one time a lady who was like 300 years old ran a stop sign and hit my car. It wasnt too bad but it would have been enough to hurt my daughter if she hadnt been in her car seat and buckled in. But yes there are people out there who dont buckle up. My dads one of them. He says the seat belt bothers him and he only buckles up if he sees a cop in the distance. Youd think hed learn after 2 or 3 seatbelt tickets in the past year but some people are just stubborn like that and dont want to change their ways. Even though my dad never buckles up he always made sure we were buckled in and my daughters been in his car a few times and he checks the car seat like 5 times before he even gets in to make sure its safe.
Reply:Yes, there really are dumb people out there. We've had click it or ticket here for a long time, but when my son was just a toddler, his crazy grandmother used to never buckle him up or make him sit in his car seat. Witch. It was more important to her to exercise her freedom than keep my son safe. And that was really why she did it, because she thought the government shouldn't control her life that way.
Reply:my grandma doesn't,she has gotten like 30 tickets and won't,she tells them she won't.she pays the ticket,and goes on.they don't do anything but make you pay a fine.i tell her she needs to for safety,but she says it is uncomfortable and it chokes her.(she is heavy and has health problems)
