Where is the REAL Buckle of the Bible Belt?
I think the buckle of the Bible belt is from what Peter the Apostle said. I will paraphrase. He said that we must tightened our belts for the hard times ahead just before the second coming Jesus the Christ.





I can't remember the verse or chapter, but I believe it is in 1st or 2nd letter of Peter. He wrote them in a time when the church was growing and beginning to meet persecution.





Therefore, THE REAL BUCKLE OF THE BIBLE BELT IS IN STANDING DIFFICULTY AND NEVER GIVE UP IN FOLLOWING CHRIST BECAUSE HE WILL RETURN.

Reply:I would have to say in Alabama. I grew up in South Carolina and thought that was bad. I visited Mississippi and Alabama years later, and I was frightened.

Reply:I believe it is in Southern Missouri/Northern Arkansas...where the per-capita of protestant churches to people...is greater than anywhere in the country...I know it is referred to as the "Baptist belt" for that same reason...number of Baptist churches to population is great.
Reply:a buckle would imply it is held together, and interestingly enough, i dont believe christianity to be held together very well. i would assume the buckle is broken. so many denominations argue amongst eachother over whos right and whos wrong.
