What is a buckle break and how long does it take to heal?
A buckle fracture (medical term is a "Torus" fracture) is a fracture only kids can get because their bones are much more flexible than adults (less calcium and more cartilege). It is a fracture that is incompletely through the bone (due to the flexible nature)--think like bending a straw, rather than snapping a piece of wood in half. By %26amp; large they still take about the same amount of time to heal--6 weeks.
Reply:I had one of those in my wrist.

From what I remember, it's where two bones are forced together and they break.

About 6-8 weeks
